Coby Electronics Goes Green with MCR

Coby Electronics USA has selected Midwest Computer Recyclers as there E-waste recycler of choice to provide collections and recycling under the new Minnesota Electronics Recycling Law. MCR will collect and process consumer electronic waste, turn them in to recycling credits for Coby Electronics USA under the May 8, 2007 Minnesota mandate.

The recent Minnesota law is the result of the Midwest E-waste Recycling Initiative Policy signed by Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Minnesota is the first state in the Midwest Initiative to enact a manufacturer recycling law to provide a recycling path for consumer e-waste. The MCR will fulfill its commitment to Coby Electronics USA in the final quarter with collection events in the State of Minnesota.
